There are hundreds
of different t-shirts available. Here is an overview of some
of the options:
Fabrics
"Heavy"
- This is the shirt we use 80% of the time. It is a 6.1oz
100% cotton fabric, comes in dozens of colors, and is the
most popular choice among our clients. We use Gilden, Hanes,
and Jerzees.
"Ring Spun"
- This is the premium, heavy 100% cotton, and feels luxuriously
soft. Costs a bit more, but often worth the price. Hanes "Beefy-T"
is the most popular, but we carry a number of different ring
spun lines.
"Jersey or
Rib" - These are fabrics often found in more contemporary
fashion. It is slightly lighter than Ring Spun, but has a
silky feel and a bit of stretch.
"50/50"
- This is a lighter weight material made from 50% cotton and
50% polyester. We have found these shirts to have a moderately
silky feel and to be more shrink and wrinkle resistent than
100% cotton shirts.
Styles
There are dozens
of basic t-shirt styles. From the basic crew neck, pocket-t,
and long sleeve shirts to contemporary trends like ringers,
cap sleeve, 3/4 sleeve, hoodies, layered t's, and a host of
specialty cuts for girls. We use shirts from Hanes, Jerzees,
Gilden, Port Authority, Fruit of the Loom, American Apparel,
Bella, Augusta Sportswear, and more. If there is something
